Conditions for Firmware upgrade

1. Please download the latest firmware, and unzip the file.

2. Do not use a USB hub or any type of device in conjunction with the computer. Use a USB port on the computer directly to connect the device.
3. The battery must be at least 1/2 charged.
4. Do not turn the computer off during upgrading firmware

Step 1

Unzip the latest firmware. Right click the file and choose "Copy"

Step 2

Connect iAUDIO to a PC by using a USB cable and a sub pack (or a cradle).

Paste unzipped file into FIRMWARE folder in iAUDIO.

Step 3.

Disconnect iAUDIO from a PC by clicking the icon "Safely Remove Hardware" in the tray

Step 4.
Unplug the USB cable, and plug in AC adapter.

Step 5.
Firmware upgrade will be processed automatically, and iAUDIO will be restarting with the new firmware.

The version of firmware is appeared on the lower right corner of the LCD when turning the device on. Or go to Menu -> Settings -> Information to check the version of firmware.
