Conditions for Firmware upgrade
1. Please download the latest firmware, and unzip the file.
A2 Firmware Download
2. Do not use a USB hub or any type of device in conjunction with the computer. Use a USB port on the computer directly to connect the device.
3. The battery must be at least 1/2 charged.
4. Do not turn the computer off during upgrading firmware
1. Download the latest firmware and unzip it.
2. Select all files (Ctrl + A) in the firmware folder and right click to copy.
3. Connect COWON A2 to computer via USB cable. When connection to computer is made, open the root folder in COWON A2. Right click to Paste files to the root folder in COWON A2.
4. Use 'Safely remove hardware' wizard in the tray at the bottom of windows screen to disconnect COWON A2 from Computer
5. COWON A2 will automatically start firmware upgrade. When firmware upgrade is finished, COWON A2 will restart
6. COWON A2 will automatically start firmware upgrade. COWON A2 restarts after finishing upgrading
7. You can check the upgraded version of firmware in System Information under Settings menu.
