[Installation steps]
(Important notice)
-Do not use a USB hub or any type of device in conjunction with the computer. Use a USB port on the computer directly to connect the device.
-The battery must be at least 1/2 charged.
-Do not turn the computer off during upgrading firmware
Step 1
Download iAUDIO F1 firmware installation file: iAudio F1 FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD
Step 2
Unzip the installation file and execute 'Setup.exe'.
Step 3
Click 'Agree' -> 'Next' -> 'Finish' installing Firmware update program by following the instruction from the installation wizard.
Step 4
Connect iAUDIO F1 to a PC Using the USB cable.
Step 5
If you have successfully installed the firmware program it should be located at the following location:'Start' -> 'All Programs' -> 'Cowon' -> 'iAUDIO F1' -> 'Firmware Download'
Step 8
The program will try and locate the device, once the device is recognized a iAudio F1 firmware download window will display. Click 'Start' to begin installation. Updating firmware will format iAUDIO and erase all data, so make sure to back up all your data before update.
Step 9
Press 'Close' to finish update.
Step 10
Disconnect iAUDIO from the PC, and confirm the new firmware is updated from the information section in the menu.
